Case Confusion
I'd like to find a case for a Mustang. I'd assumed that a Jaguar case would work because of the scale. But all the Jag cases I'm seeing are also listed as fitting a Jazzmaster, so that doesn't make any sense. That would mean a Jag case is too long AND wide for a Mustang? And then I've read that a Mu...

Duo Sonic Wiring
I'm looking at the wiring diagram for a current production HS Duo Sonic. I've read that this guitar uses Gibson 50's wiring? If I wanted to switch from that to a "normal" wiring, what wire(s) would I need to swap? Not really digging the volume loss on the tone knob. Please pretend you are ...

Re: Mustang VM neck
Hi, I've got a Mustang VM in Sonic Blue and find the neck far too clubby for me, I've got small hands (should have known better than to buy without trying). As a result it's just sat in it's gigbag waiting for me to get off my arse to do something about it or sell it on. So interested in Doog's pos...

Re: Finding the Right Shortscale
Hi. New guy. Looking for a little info in the shortscale realm. Ideally I'd like something with a tremolo. So a Mustang. But I read a loooong write-up on OSG on what it takes to actually get the bridge/trem set up properly, and frankly it was a little off-putting. Hey Mr New Guy, welcome. Honestly,...

100% refret your MM. And welcome. Thanks. And wow, that is NOT one of the replies I would have expected. Obviously, that's not going to happen during this current situation. But also, I'm concerned at the price? My impression was that a good re-fret will run $300-400. You sound pretty affirmative.....
