Just bought a second hand one, the ac version. Mainly to use at home, but tried it at practice through a 8ohm cab and it sounds great. Close enough to my proper vox ac30 for gigs. Just about loud enough but not really. So fancy getting a 4ohm cab to get the maximum 50 watts. Should be fine for gigs ...

I'm not really going to use two Ac30s. The other one in the picture is the bass players and it had stopped working. Turns out one of the El34s had borked. So waiting on Replacement then he's probably selling it. The stages we play barely fit one ac30 nevermind 2 and I am already being asked to turn ...

Yeah! Less mush and you can hear the bass like a separate part of the sound if that makes sense. Looking forward to turning up at practice next week.

I tried the ps-3 as the tiny delay but for some reason I couldn't get it to be in stereo. Both dry and wet were going to both amps. I then tried a Behringer dd6(I think) copy and that had the same issue.
So back to the trusty multistomp and a stereo delay setting. Works a treat. About 40 ms

Yeah the ottobit is used on two of our songs now. The judder forms a good part of noise sections. As well as kinda fake feedback stabs.

The superfuzz is just a great sounding fuzz and it sounds massive. I would like a hyperfuzz one day mind.

I am going to swap my pedalboard around a bit so I can do the delay trick.

However last night the rig sounded sick at our gig. It ain't half a pain in the arse though carrying the extra amp and cab around.

This was practice tonight.


Sounds really great. The vox is punching through. When subs are needed the bass rig comes into its own. Have a gig on Friday so will test it out in a live context and see if I piss off the sound guy.

Let me know how you get on with the tele bridge pickup because I am still getting feedback issues which I think is the actual bridge plate rather the pickup.
