Twin Reverb won't turn off?

After practice yesterday, my fender twin reverb wouldn't turn off. The standby switch works fine, but the on off switch does nothing. The only thing I can think of is that the switch is somehow shorted? I have never experienced this kind of amp failure. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure how I feel about them. I have only owned 2 guitars that had them, and both guitars were junk.

Thanks guys! I was kind of going for a melody maker / rick mix. I'm pretty happy with it, the string spacing is kind of narrow at the nut, but I can adjust that a little bit when I make a real nut for it, but then again I'm getting kind of used to it.

Still needs a little work, bridge needs to be modified a little to get the action lower, but I got to play it today! The weird mark on the pick guard is the protective plastic stuff coming off of it. Glad that it still around, you should definitely post any repairs you do on it. I almost bought a vintage villager from goodwill's website but I forgot to bid on it, it sold for like $170.

Thanks! I thought the original one looked a little too much like it came from a a PRS which is not for me.

Thanks!

I used a very sharp chisel to cut a v shaped groove, then shaped it to look nice with sandpaper.
