Spitfire finished the guard! Subtle 60's burgundy he modeled after the pictures I had of the original guard. Love the bright red in bright light and the dark burgundy in less lighting. Looks like a brand new '69 guard. http://farm1.staticflickr.com/308/18946134961_280e18ce6c_z_d.jpg http://farm1.sta...

I don't know. That switch in the upper horn is actually a two way. I suggested moving it next to the toggle like the cobain jaguar. But my friend likes it in the upper horn and the separate switch for the middle since he doesn't use the middle as much.

Yeah. That's the neck cross was building for my xii build but the measurements got a tad off. So Finboy bought it. Cross is gonna make me a B&B neck now.

I would but I end up selling them all to build more. haha  But here is the '64 project stang I got and put together from cooterfinger. All vintage parts except new tuners, a new mint guard, and vintage wound Bullock mustang pickups. She's my main babe at the moment. '64 A neck is a dream! Coote...

Aesthetically I REALLY like this. I like almost everything in the design, except the switching, but I would want something that allows the middle alone... and maybe phasing and/or series/parallel... but that goes against your buddy's desire for simplicity. I'd also prefer the trem, but the hardtail...

Picked this neck up for $100. He isn't trying to be cheap but also not trying to break the bank. I know these necks are pretty good quality. I really dig that it has more of a natural vintage tint instead of the really yellowed tint squiers usually have. http://c1.staticflickr.com/1/472/18432623698_...

Well, my buddy is going through with it! This is now a build. Only one small update. Hardtail trem plate with tele neck pickup instead of a tremolo. Mock-up now has Jag horn instead of Jazz horn as well. Here's the specs: -Jazz-Stang Body (alder, mustang thickness, contours) -25.5" scale Strat ...

Yeah. Basically the pinup Jazzmaster but a little different. When my friend said strat like single coils I immediately thought of the pinup lol. Sorry it was just a picture in the first post. I couldn't format it on my phone. I had to edit the text in separately.

Jazz-Stang Build

My buddy wants me to build him a guitar. He originally wanted a Jazzmaster but I showed him the jagstang 2.0 shape and he likes it but wants full scale. He also doesn't want the control plates, so it is more of a Jazz-Stang. He doesn't have a three single coil setup either. But he likes a simple set...

I liked that burst a lot. Very in your face and cheap looking. Hopefully a good bit will shine through at least.
