megastores are the worst, some employees steal adapters that come with pedals so you gotta pay for an extra adapter if you need one, even when you're buying a 300 dollar pedal, or they steal wheels that normally come standard with guitar and bass cabs so you have to buy those again too see how i lov...

hmm...wait a minute... mine has round knobs..supposed to be the newer troo bypass then, but... it came in a wooden box .. ? i did buy it secondhand so the guy might've just given it to me in the wooden box.. but are you sure that all the 'newer' big muffs with round knobs come in a cardboard box the...

whoa, that sucks man they're not exspensive over here at all, esp cheap in german webshops..if they have it in stock that is   if it's really that pricey over there i'd consider getting that one when the shipping costs are quite ok too.... you won't regret having it in your pedal collect...

thanks for the link penpen ! shipping costs are insane indeed, there's a guy at the dutch bass forum i post at who makes custom pedals so i could prolly ask him :) edit: came across this page, scroll all the way down to the last stompbox (xotic blend) it's kind of what i need...no; it's exactly what...

i read about that mod at the talkbass forum, but it's not worth modding it ..to me anyway, i use the same one for guitar so i don't want to mod it .. it's not really that i'm missing low end with the BM either, i'm just missing the direct-ness of a clean signal, little details get lost in the mix wh...

i already mentioned this thing to one of our guitarists and he did say he could probably help out with this thing but i don't think he's very experiened with building pedals, he does know a lot about electronica, but doesn't have all the parts either ..with some research it must be possible to find ...

russian muffs..yeah.. heard about that too.. honestly i've never been able to try one, i did read things about the old 'green/grey' ones either sounding like utter crap or like pure genius, depending on your luck or something... but as i said..never been able to try one, or even find one..heh.. the ...

EHX US Big Muffs, love what they do, on guitar ?nd bass...but.. i always notice i lose a lot of punch and definition when i use it on bass, not such a big problem when it's only bass, but as soon as distorted guitars kick in bass is totally lost in the mix, it's annoying... i combine it with a more ...

you know..moogs..they're awesome, you can get a lot of over the top sound fx with those moogerfoogers, esp. the murfffff.. but seriously.. they're too pricey for me to drag them around from club to bar to whateva i would worry too much about them being stolen or damaged ... i don't know how much tha...

search for plug-ins; VST, Components... you can easily use them in Garageband, just find some sites where you can download them for free, save them, then go to your HD, click on 'library', then 'audio' then 'plug-ins' and then put the 'component' files in the component map, VST files in the vst map....

i'm not as cool as hurb and mike :P but no seriously, i'm not even cool enough to have a paypal account i think it's gonna be the PW solderless cable kit after all, german webshops are pretty cheap too, cheaper than the guitarstores over here, and no shipping costs either but imma wait a little whil...

there's not a lot of shops over here that sell George L's, planet waves and klotz are easier to find, i saw that PW cable kit box for about 60 euros; ten plugs, 3 m cable, you don't have to solder anything, just cut the cable and put the plugs on 'em i guess...would be 12euros per patch cable then, ...

exspensive cables ?
i'm thinking about updating my cables a little bit, not that i'm using crap cables or summit, they're fine, tho most of them are about 5 years old... i've got a couple of excalibur cables (i think they were quite pricey when i bought them about five years ago..couldn't find this brand anymore tho..t...
