Reminds me of EBS amps; if you use a specific guitar lead that they make, the amp can power their pedals through the output jack, pretty neat.

You won't get enough volume by running them off the headphone output. Just buy some cheapo hi-fi amp on ebay or from a garage sale, and run em like that.

I'll look at the cost of buying one versus building one and see if it's worth it..
