Re: Strat wiring question

So. Forgot about this post. What i was looking for was to have push pull pots to tap neck and bridge buckers as well as 3rd push pull to activate bridge pup at any time. Almost there. Still needs a little setup. Ah. What you said earlier was two push pull pots to tap neck and bridge buckers and a t...

So... how do you want the tone knob to work? Without active electronics I can't see a way to do it without unwanted side-effects.

Re: WTF Esquire shortbass

I have an Epiphone EB0 that I've only played two or three times since bringing it back from the shop. That's a short scale SG shaped bass, but I'd rather it had two pickups.

Strange coincidence. Woodrite is heavily featured in the stock of WM Guitars, which I just posted about.

A visit to WM guitars Ashburton

I've had an FB advertisement pop up a couple of times for WM Guitars in Ashburton (http://www.wmguitars.com/). As we were going to be passing close by on our way back from holiday (and with encouragement from Bacchus) I popped in for half an hour. It's a cave of treasures selling old and rare guitar...

I'd love to be a good enough player to justify buying the CK88... The Hydrasynth sounds epic from the demos.

What was with the extra knobs by the neck pickup?

Re: pictures of your gear here

Picked up one or two new (old) things recently. I saw a Peavey 210 TVX bass cab available nearby and picked it up this morning. I spent an hour or so with a scrubbing brush cleaning it up, removed the grille and vacuumed/wiped the dust off the speakers and generally made it look more presentable. Pe...

Re: NMXFD Line 6 M13

After a bit of experimentation, it seems that if you don't have anything selected in a given column when you select the looper, it remembers which you used last in that column and selects that.

I'll try to work that out tomorrow; the manual says "Any effects you have on when entering Looper mode will remain in your signal path."

NMXFD Line 6 M13

I picked up an as-new M13 yesterday and although I feel it could have done with a third expression pedal input, one thing particularly impressed me; when you go into the looper, the top row of effects remains active/selectable. I'm pretty sure the M9 doesn't do that. The GR-55 doesn't do that.
