buzzing frets, yes. dead fret, no. I've got the action stupid high right now to try to sort it, but its actually uncomfortable. I'm just going to bite the bullet on the fret levelling.

Yeah, but I think I'd rather have the low E and A doubled instead of the two highest strings. I mean, aren't high E and B and their doubled strings on a XII tuned the same anyway, while the others have an octave difference?

The body is MIM Fender standard, which is alder. The neck is from a Squier Black and Chrome Tele.

So they're proper enough.
