Those values are the "standards". You can use any value cap with any value pot, just going to have a different treble rolloff. The smaller the cap the less treble rolloff, basically. If a guitar is too bright you can up the value of the cap to bleed more off. Those cap values at Stewmac ar...

Whoa. Puretube is making a name for himself. Yeah, he's the chap that designed the zipper and worm and several of the EHX tube pedals, and their SS counterparts as well. He's been active on the DIYStompbox forum for a while, and is insanely brilliant. FlangerHoax was his design as well. Oh and Julia...

Apparently. This one here has been pruned several times now, granted my posts were off topic but I think you've already answered what delay he should get.

btw the rare ones are the ones that say "Super Distortion & Feedbacker" before Dimarzio fucked Boss.
You are right, I don't know what I'm thinking. DF-2, and it is the common one not the rare.

I'm a member over there, and I've asked there, and no dice. The smallest I've found was 10mm pots from SmallBear, which I ordered and even THOSE are too big.

Course I could. The pedal just really isn't worth it, though. The whole reason I keep the damn thing and NOT gut it for the housing is the novelty factor of having an almost-complete original DF-1. Rehousing would remove that. I might just gut it anyway.

It's more the fact they're crappy plastic shaft pots- one sharp blow to the dial and it's Brokeshaft Mountain. Just like my DF-1 then? Even metal shafts didn't save those POS pots. They still broke. Mike, they are an odd size, extra small compared to what you normally find, and I have NOT been able...

Yeah. To complain about shitty pots when we are discussing Boss is profoundly ironic.

I'm bitter because I have yet to find replacement pots for my DF-1. Fucking supertiny pots.

Not if they did a PolyChorus clone. Even after rehousing it would be cheaper, I bet. And I'm not really too worried about the pots.

The following was posted by Rob and Aug, they are body thickness for various shortscales. Please post up any other body dimensions in this thread. I was searching before for the standard body thickness of a mustang before and couldn't find them. 72 fender bronco 1 3/8" 97 squier Duo RI 1 1/2&qu...

just rip out the board, put new leads on it, get a good switch and put it in a metal box and paint it pink with a giant pussy on it.
That was my plan. Even down to the paintjob.

They make me smile, because they straight up don't give a fuck. They are blatant copies and they don't even try to hide it.

FFS, WHY? Even Boss didn't sell that many of these. It literally looks like they just copied down every pedal from Boss' history and put out clones.
