there is always some buzz. the few first oscillations of a string will always hit the next fret, you may not hear it but it's there. you also can cause severe buzz by hitting the strings hard, on any guitar. there's really no reason to be paranoid about the buzz. sometimes it even sounds nice.

go for the second and make that bridge pickup slant reversed.

currently i have dimarzio area 51 in neck and GFS lil' killer (double rail) in bridge. this combination rocks.

i own this thing for a few months now. it's ok, but the pickups are so-so. toronado gt hh sounds significantly better.

don't see the picture as well, but it should be all fine. i had this little finish cracks in both strats i've owned, and also see this in others' guitars quite often. i imagine it would be really hard to make in a crack in the body and still have the guitar to hold together.

i'll second sloan on KRK Rokit 5's.

i use M-Audio BX5, got them used for about $200 few years ago, they are awesome. if not these, i would go for KRKs.

okay this is weird. i have a Vox Night Train and i basically can hear my guitar from inside the amp head. it sounds a lot like spring rattling on a tube BUT. this happens even when the SPEAKER IS DISCONNECTED. don't get me wrong, i run it through an attenuator, which allows me to disconnect cabinet ...

GFS retrotrons.

eric clapton strat with aftermarket glossy neck and locking tuners. fat V-neck, very resonant and chimey. noiseless pickups. best sounding guitar i've played.

i've played Xaviere strat and a thinline tele. the neck is OK. banana tint is awful indeed, but the thing was pretty playable to me. the neck on thinline tele was a bit thicker and more of a clubby profile, as opposed to strat. the neck on strat was thin and flat, i guess that's a D profile. not sur...
