damn where did you find a guard! I've been looking for ages. I have a slightly later model with the 2+4 headstock and bigsby.

my old guard rotted to pieces and corroded some of the electronics. its a really weird two ply black and white guard. These guitars sound bad ass!

I am going to do the classic fender 22.5 inch scale. Both kids have pretty long fingers (my daughter can reach one octave on the piano)

oh yeah I have to totally go with my son's choice, he's a very, very, very particular nearly 7 year old.

the 2nd one is based on my Hagtrom with that offset look thrown in.
