I decided to give my $70 Peavey T-15 a quick update today using the spray paint from my amp grille cleanup and a pair of 375 watt bulbs to speed up the drying. Another update... no pics yet, because I had to leave the amp behind due to lack of space in my car.

I've decided to make a new cabinet for it completely out of plywood, leave it natural, getting some rad light-colored fabric, spraying the Marshall Logo black, and putting it back together.

ugh... so the particle board soaked up a bit too much of the paint, and it wouldn't fit. I tried tapping it into place by hand and ended up breaking it. What kind of paint do you use on the pickguard that'll hold up under heavy picking? I'm trying to update my old-ass Peavey T-15, and a black pickguard sounds like the perfect way to do it.
