NPD: Dunlop Germanium Fuzz Face Mini

Picked this up in a decent deal from a seller on Gumtree over the weekend and I like it a lot. This Fuzz Face to my ears has a tighter and more defined lower end than my Big Muff (with tone wicker) and a flatter EQ. It only sounds good with the fuzz control all the way up. Although it really only do...

Cheers everyone.

Yeah I play into a Twin Reverb so it's going into a totally clean amp. The OCD definitely does the light breakup thing really well; I usually have the gain set between 9 and 12 o'clock.

I was thinking of some kind of silicone fuzz thing, I dunno.

Dirt pedal suggestions

I'm bored and I want something that covers ground not already covered by my OCD and Muff. Any suggestions?

I've never really bonded with Rats and a TS clone I once tried.

Fender Sonoran acoustics?

Anyone got an opinion on these? There's a red one available locally at a reasonable price and I'm very tempted.

http://i58.tinypic.com/mszpmc.jpg No mention of whether or not it's fixed, but I would guess so from the photo. But then there's no trem on a Starcaster, so it wouldn't have rocked anyway... Staytrem bridge for Classic Player Jaguar / Jazzmaster, Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster and Pawn Shop Jaguarillo ...

Yes, but is the Staytrem "drop in replacement for AOM" really a modified mustang bridge (like other Staytrems) or is it just a TOM designed and manufactured by Staytrem? If it's the latter, shouldn't change the feel really... But perhaps adds plastic bits for increased stability? The Stay...

Thanks, yeah I thought as much. This whole 'different feel' idea though – is this an actual thing?

Staytrem bridge on a Starcaster?

I notice that nowadays Staytrem offer a drop-in bridge for AOMs... what advantages if any would this bring to my Starcaster? Correct 9.5" radius? I read somewhere that Fender AOMs don't match the neck radius.

Yeah, I was quoted 14 days for my WRHBs, but they arrived in half that time.

EHX #1 Echo

I'm not really feeling my Memory Toy nowadays so I'm thinking I may try going digital. Anyone played one of these?

I've got his pickups in all four of my guitars: Jaguar, Mustang, Jazzmaster and Starcaster with WRHBs. Obviously I think they're excellent!

I've got a JB & Jazz in my Squier Super-Sonic, both coil split to push/pull pots.

The Jazz is fine, although the JB is probably too hot for my tastes. Clean, it doesn't sound great unless split to a single coil.
