I believe the "pot shafts" are the "screws" themselves.

How that pickup looks under that EMG style cover is beyond me. But this concept is pretty damn awesome.

I think it's quite obvious. Because the strings AREN'T in the way. It's got 7 potentiometers, which would probably mean they go in between strings.

Those covered melt banana pedals are so very obvious, it doesn't matter that they're covered.

I don't think I would ever do it, even if I were famous. I'm so much of a gear snob, I like showing my stuff off.

Greg Morlan has.

I still have the original manuals, the original box, etc...

Considering what they're doing on ebay, and what I paid/traded for it, I'd say $400+shipping is more than fair for its condition.

If I list it on ebay I'd expect to be getting $500.

http://myspace.com/realbluesky Horrible recording but well you can hear how they sound with chords. I was playing guitar/roland simultaneously. My review explains paul's review (which was not informative at all). There isn't a problem with chords. The roland pickup has a seperate magnet for each str...

Overall, those things are too complicated. You can't get lightning fast tracking at fast tempos. You need to be playing a certain way in order to get the results shown in the vid... I don't know the technical reason why exactly, but basically it almost feels like playing guitar hero, if you don't ge...

I dunno man. Yun's favorite pickup was the super distortion. When I sold him my duncan designed JB copy, he said that was his new favorite pickup.

That said, I'm gonna have to agree with you on this issue.

"that's about all you got"

cracked me up.

I wouldn't trust the guy giving the review. There's no doubt in my mind that they're nothing special, but I'd try one out or hear it in person before giving final judgement based on that video.

I usually do as well, although the Big Muff sound in the Digitech DF-7 doesn't sound half bad.

I'm just glad there was no internet when I started playing. Too much information can be a bad thing. I'd have been all like "Whut's the bypass like on a Zoom1010?" instead of goig OMFG it's GOT LIGHTS AND WORDS ON IT AND MY GUITAR IS A SPACESHIP NOW Totally! My first pedal was a Zoom 707....

Arion is quite decent actually. I've got the old SAD-1 pedal and it's pretty good compared with some of the best analog delays.

Don't even think of doing that to that poor guitar. Fran's looks retarded, and doing it to an awesome guitar body in a color that doesn't suck is just plain stupid. You know how to finish guitars, get a squier and go re-ranch on its ass if you want to make something that ugly. (imo the strat body is...

I'd like it if more of my guitars had maple necks.

The only Rosewood fretboard that I have that I really love is my Ovation's, which is Brazilian rosewood (before it was illegal).

My next project will definately need a maple neck.

I like how aug took that picture with light shining through the beer onto the neck. Really gives it that "vintage tint" look
