I've been out for a while, so apologies for the ~BUMP~, but I really dig these. Just enough SG and LP to not be either of them. They look quite slick. Definitely digging the grey one you others are digging as well. 8)

Buy a Kemper, be fucking done.

Honestly the weakest equation in what you described is the marshall cab - I really dislike the stock g12t-75 speakers in almost every application.

i say go for it and just put them everywhere.

Another vote for REAPER.

http://www.reaper.fm

it's small, comes with a lot of great built in plugins, even though i've spent hundreds of dollars on plugins over the years, i still use lots of the reaper plugins.

What I am really try to find out is the basic quality when it comes to recording with these multi track devices
Most any digital recording device today is going to have more than usable quality overall.

You can definitely get some usable results I would think if you know what you're doing, but I would probably just use it for demos. The power you have via software nowadays is unparalleled when it comes to audio production.

You should be able to find a used one for about $500usd if you are patient. If you are using it live, no need to spend the big bucks cause it will get fuckin' trashed anyway.
