Re: In search of the list cord

Fuck a noiseless Jack

That sound when you plug a guitar into a live amplifier and then hear the resonant bounce of the open strings as you do so is fucking GLORIOUS

If you took that away from me I think I’d stop playing guitar forever

Re: So, I uh, might have done something kind of stupid..

I’ve not seen or played one I wrote the above post when Liverpool were being frustrated to 0-0 by spurs and now we’re 1-0 down so I’m no use to anyone EDIT - 1-1 Ah well. Up the fucking Reds. Need City to have a serious collapse but if Guardiola's kecks and shoes combo the other night is anything to...

Re: So, I uh, might have done something kind of stupid..

YESSSSS!!!!! That's my other dream amp, other than the 1224. The JVM410 is basically all the Marshalls in one head, with more switchable options between them than you could want. I love them. I keep trying to get my band to go to Tazma instead of Brazen, mostly because they have a JVM head there an...

Re: So, I uh, might have done something kind of stupid..

Amusingly G12T-75s after being overlooked for years are about to get a size-able bump in price since a bunch of kurt lovers just got told it's the key to the Nevermind sound: I always loved the ones in my old 4x12". An industry class...

Re: I upgraded my workshop in the basement a little

Looks good! I’m jealous you have the space. 90% of my work is done outside, with the more delicate chores on the kitchen table. +1 Me too.. and I don't live in Texas, so outdoors = WET / COLD. I have the same desk for my day job and the pedals. Have had to be pretty creative with shelving and stora...

I love casters. I used to have them on my old Marshall 80s 4x12 but when I sold that I moved them to my 2x12.

Being able to roll stuff around your house FTW

Re: Building a mini Kurdt pedalboard

The DS-1 and DS-2 are objectively bad pedals. You shouldn’t need a half dirty decent valve amplifier for the pedal to sound good

Emperors new clothes all over the shop here. Let’s be real the nirvana live guitar sound with the DS pedals was not great

Nope but you can cop that sound really well with a GT-2 in my opinion

I’m sure that clone sounds just as good
