Buying gear, especially new gear, is always going to cost more on Reverb. Sweetwater lank for same synth I don't give a fuck about cost. ZERO FUCKS. I ordered it on reverb because I wanted a shop that wasn't owned by corporate overlords. This isn't about money, it's about complete garbage ðŸ—â€...

I second Paul’s suggestion on the kit... this is being seen more and more lately, the cheapest available incarnation of certain MIC guitars/basses are also available in kit form (and the people selling the completed instrument are probably ordering those kits). The Jay Turser Hofnery violin ...

But you probably could build stuff, it's not that hard. You can just order some PC boards.

Germanium won't clip as much.

I believe this is the biggest screwdriver I have, and it's not too big for the slot, fits just right.

I actually tried the Micro Terror cranked for curiosity. The sound was kind of nasty, and it was so loud I couldn't handle it for more than 20 or 30 seconds. That’s how Ive run mine recently. Gun the drive, volume just controls how much I annoy my neighbors. Slap a fuzz in front of it and it...

Black looks better on pretty much any sunburst Fender: strats, 'stangs, Jazz Basses, etc.

I can't imagine many people choosing a hybrid amp for any reason other than budgetary (not to say that tube amps are inherently better than solid state, but why compromise in either direct...

Cool amp. You don't think it would be loud enough through the 4x12" if you didn't need any clean sounds?

You have to do the Bubba mod (drill holes in the back of the bridge for the strings) to avoid drilling them in the body.

Or maybe use the saddle holes for the strings and drill for 3 tele saddles.

Needle nose pliers or a bigger screwdriver.

Oh yeah, and supposedly coins, but haven't tried it.

Had something similar happen to a Dano pedal, but the head broke off completely. Wound up drilling a small hole in the broken plastic screw body and attaching a metal screw to close the pedal.
