Tele Bass or early PBass help

I am working on a neck template for an early styled p-bass does anyone know of the radius for the corners of the neck where it meets the body?

Also if anyone has a good drawing of the head stock that would rock...

thanks

Jazz Bass now with more wood!

I was going to wait to start this thread but this room is a little slow so I thought I would go ahead and start. I am going to be building a Jazz Bass based on this bad boy: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2047/2216901138_1f658407fd.jpg though mine will be a bit more on the early 60s style. slab fing...

Well ok, I called Stew-Mac and they said it should be fine to re-radius the board.

As far as the hot rods go no dice, they're welded...

It looks like I'll be making my own.

I think in the long run it will be better to use the pre-radiused board even if I do have to re-cut the slots. I guess my other worry is if the edges will be too thin.

I can make my own Fender vintage style bass truss rod but the hot rods are so much easier to do (so I hear).

Vintage radius

So since nobody (at least that I can find on the internets) seems to make a vintage radius (7 1/4") pre-slotted fretboard I thought I would make my own, then I looked on the Stew-Mac site and their pre-radiused, pre-slotted boards are cheaper than the blanks! http://www.stewmac.com/product_imag...

http://www.leviatech.fi/monsteramps/gfx/neil1.jpg what sort of metal is that neck pickup? it's oxidized or whatever and it's green. the switch on my mosrite has done the same thing and i think it looks awesome. i'm not big on relics, but i'd love to age some hardware like that for this weird case i...
