Then I looked and saw a pale horse. Its rider's name was Paul1k, and Blocks and Binding followed close behind.

That looks lovely Shad, really cool. I've been eyinng up the custom squier tele in a shop nearby. I love the matching headstock with silver lettering. I'd buy it and stick a plack 3 ply on there after seeing yours http://musicenscene.fr/images/squier_classic_vibe_tele_custom_black_fender_guitare_ele...

Dude is there any chance you could measure the scale on the tele? where does the bridge fall? Is it intonated exactly?

I'm having huge issue with that bridge and loads of other folks at TDPRi have too....

Cheers for the info Eric. it's not so much that I'm after better bargains but rather avoiding both import tax, and dealing with GFS who are royally pissing me off.

Is it definite that GFS are the same products as Artec? Certainly save me having to make any orders through GFS in the future

Thom, if you don't find what you need, then I highly recommend posting over at the Guitarnuts forum - they are probably the hotbed for electrical and wiring knowledge. they basically designed my super complicated Jag Stang wiring Have a look here - they are super decent to help out a wiring layman: ...

I just dropped in a roller TOM that fit perfectly and made the trem an absolute dream to use. Cost about a tenner. Small trivia fact: Mine was the first ever CP Jag to receive a Staytrem collet and arm, and I sent the existing collet to John at ST to look at the dimensions and thread types. It seems...
