Re: A Slightly oops NPD: Line 6 M13

So I’ve actually managed to play with this for a bit. I’ve been off work for the past month as I had a meltdown after a bad job and needed to get my head together. The drive section is pretty good, tube driver especially. The modulation section has some really good stuff, I love the leslie sim and p...

Re: A Slightly oops NPD: Line 6 M13

Mine is still in its box since I had it because I’ve had fuck all time to get my rig out and plug in. Actually considering selling all my gear until work/wife/child give me just half an hour to myself to pick up a fucking guitar.

Re: A Slightly oops NPD: Line 6 M13

How's it going, Rob? How did you explain it to Efty? She is ok with it, cost me a pair of shoes whilst we are in Prague currently, with the exchange rate I think it was a small price to pay lol. Love the M13, the sounds are pretty good. Even the drive section is surprisingly nice for Digital models...

Think you were one of the first to have an M13 on the forum weren’t you?

I think it would have an opposite effect as she came back with two pairs of shoes!! 😂😂

Re: Behringer Power Overdrive PO300 + some old shortscale story telling

Agree with nickd, very happy memories of doogfest. How time has flown by. I remember meeting Fran for the first time when we car shared to doogfest 2, the smell of wet plaster and Mansfield ale wafting into the car 😂😂 and the broadest Sutton accent I’ve ever heard. I can remember going to music live...

Re: A Slightly oops NPD: Line 6 M13

Well, the M13 finally arrived. Fuck me it’s massive! Quite weighty as well. Plugged it in to make sure it works, hoping to get chance to play with it on my next day off. Won’t be able to stick it through the Marshall, but I’ll set my little cuvave cube baby thingy to a clean sound and have a play on...

Re:

I love SGs, and will have another. I want a white one. Guild Polaras are OK, but I don't like the neck profile, and they fall apart in about three different ways. The best SGs are SG Classics (I've had four) - the combination of SGs and P90s is just bonkers. That sweet off white SG jr I met you in ...

Re: A Slightly oops NPD: Line 6 M13

£120 posted, including the original box and power supply.

I’m thinking of getting at least one expression pedal for speed control. I want to set it so I can run the univibe model into the front of the amp and the Leslie model in the fx loop.

A Slightly oops NPD: Line 6 M13

So I may have slightly gone overboard after posting about wanting an M5/M9. I had a couple of beers whilst knackered from late night baby duties and put a proper lowball offer in for an M13 thinking it would never win………well it did!!! Fuck knows how I’m gonna explain that to efty when it arrives!! l...

Crikey, at one stage I’m sure all my pedals were boss pedals. Now I’ve got no boss pedals at all. I've only used JJ tubes in whatever I've owned at the time. Don't think I've retubed the origin 20H yet. That's current sitting under the bed collecting mojo dust for when I get to be a weekend warrior in my 50's

That looks amazing mike, just caught up on this thread. I miss the baja tele quite a bit. I didn't sell it, I lent it at the time to my late ex's brother who still has it. I tried to get it back a couple of times but was met with hostility as they hate the ground I walk on because I moved on with li...

I've seen some of these on eBay recently, seem to be sold under the valeton and sonicake brands too. Looks quite small and some nice sounds. Think I've seen them for about £25-35 on there.

I think you want a foundation pedal like a tech 21 blonde or the super cheap clone Harley Benton do (American sound) to give you a nice clean tone and then a simple headphone amplifier after that. You can stack your pedals up front Or an audio interface and use cheap/free AmpliTube/GarageBand etc Y...
