Well I think it's weird but I suppose that's just cos I always give any new instrument a full check up when I buy it. You'd probably be shocked how many guitar players hardware know-how stops at changing strings, and forget about intonation. After all that's why guitar shops can charge through the n...

These are very cool. I toyed with attempting a pedal once but swiftly put the idea on the shelf when I discovered I'd have to use my brain. I love the look of these too.

Do you make a fuzz? (I'm too lazy to read the entire thread)

Ah cool. I used to have a red one of those, they're great for projects just move the bridge for your desired scale legnth (I had a strat neck on mine, one with the extra fret overhang) plus they have the big swimming pool route so you can load itanyway you want super-easy! Great score. :D One of my ...

Cool, like Frusciante Vs Basquiat or something, I prefer the smearing to the dripping. It looks like you really had fun especially with the first few.

As far as I know he bought up some stuff as an investment, which is fair enough. He's starting to sell stuff off due to the credit crunch. I'm hoping the CC is gonna help me nab a vintage bargain!!

I'd say cut out the body with a router, much easier and better for fiddly neck pocket parts.

Most US sellers will mail out if you drop them an email 1st. The only real difference is the customs forms.

It'd probably be a pretty good project and not too difficult as long as you're gonna respray a solid colour, although there's probably about a hundred people thinking the same thing!

If you just pick it up and look at it you can't see much, it's when the pickguard comes off you can see the real horrorshow. The guy that sold it trusted the shop (as you would if you'd dropped as much moolah in there as this guy has) they sold him a bad 'un. Tbh if the only problem had been the nec...
