Bros I got a mastery. It's expensive, but half my pedals cost more than it, and I use them way less. It's not perfect, it buzzes too. The main thing about it for me is how solid it is. You can go crazy on it with no ill effects.

My 66 is prone to string breaking, but only in freakout noise guitar solos. Unfortunately those happen at most of my gigs. It is my main gigging guitar though, nothing cuts through the mix like a Jag, nothing looks better than a Jag, nothing feels like a Jag.

That guitar is 15 minutes drive from my house! I almost got a job at that shop. That guitarist plays around town in many bands, he's an incredible player and a really nice guy. If I had the $$, I would be shopping at musicstorelive.

Set up an new nut should be around 60-70 tops. I believe it was 55 for me the last time I had it done. You're looking at double that... go somewhere else.

The bridge was a strat pickup or some typer  , wood was filed a little so it fit at an angle. Not too bad. I have an SD antiquity in the mail.

I may leave it as is or stain it, not sure. Trying to get the electronics working and possibly pay for a refret. Ugly massive frets on this bitch. Neck finish is untouched, I was referring to if I painted it a custom color it wouldn't look like the originals as they had matching headstocks. THere is...

Wow those are really nice. I am thinking that I'll try a costello type walnut stain, and if I dont like it, just nitro over it. Anything wrong with that?

I'm probably picking up a 65 Jag for cheap on wednesday... It is stripped and looks like this. http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii46/linck-3/April13th050_zps15afa4cd.jpg http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii46/linck-3/April13th051_zps98523c30.jpg http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii46/lin...
