Unless I’m going senile in my old age I am sure Jaguar’s have always been 7.5”. The 9.5” thing is a crappy reissue update. I think the classic players and HH with hardtail jags are 9.5”.

I thought that was the point though? That your strings should move freely across your nuts? That's why people give their nuts a good lubing. I use 11-49 on my Jag and I put them on a tele and I never play that tele. I’ve been thinking about getting a strat and putting 9s on it but strats are boring. Maybe I should get one of them thom yorke tele customs with a big headstock.
