Mike had his last 2x12 cab stolen from his car, the same night Pete Doherty got arrested for being naughty in the same area..

Coolness. Luckily, I'm fortunate enough to have a great amp tech about 5 minutes drive from my place. The dude is great, knows shit loads about amps (fixed my DSL50 when the switching circuit went kerblooey) and just made a 20w single channel JCM800 copy (2203/2204 I guess)- a friend in a local band...

Ebay, get yerself a bargain. It's only a hardcase after all, not a guitar.

Or just Google it, I found loads of sites that do Hiscox cases mailorder.

Nah, same as youse guyses combos- slight pause and "ducking", like the channel very quickly fades in. Crap, but doesn't bother me since I'd never use the channels together because of the crappy shared EQ :x

I'm glad and a little surprised that the footswitch connects to the amp with a standard mono guitar cable- anything with a weird/special lead always unnerves me a bit..

Haha.. nah, Slowgears have been of the "snake oil" status for years, ditto the Pan/Tremolo and Vibrato pedals.

I bet violin bow prices have gone up because of the Ros though..

You can get some kinda cool slightly compressed attack strumming sounds with em though. And anything fast would be a nightmare to do well with a volume pedal.

They're well overpriced and overhyped though.

Just get one of the big boring rectangular ones, that'd fit a Stang, a Tele, a Strat etc, lefty or righty.

Talk to Andy - he just got an expression pedal recently and threw vaseline onto it as it came unlubed by accident. 3-in-1 is completely inappropriate to the task The exp. pedal had the thick white gunk stuff on it, but obviously not enough in the right place. So I put some "3-In-One" oil ...
