Some of the big stuff I still need: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3785/11768313984_15357c7e14.jpg I have the spring screw, just need the spacer that is on it. I don't know how THESE could possibly be for Broncos (since they are new), but they sure look close. Last set! Even if they are not quite ri...

That guitar's **TWIN** is for sale in NYC. I saw it on TDPRI the other day and was curious what it looked like. His writing style makes him seem earnest. "It's been in the family since 1959" like the clap.

There's a certain optimism here. Not from the jaded owner, who has nothing to lose by putting it out there. It's that in the midst of all this there is a tiny sliver of horn shape in the same general area one might find one on an actual guitar. The best thing that could happen here is for this to be...

Could also have been a repair. The only serifs I can think of are an older italic version of JAZZ BASS and another for PRECISION BASS. It's an odd choice. I don't think of the bass as a formal instrument, but it does have a classical tradition. Coronado has a cursive with serif elements, and all the...

That works on Jags, so why not? I have a 12 TOM on my XII because it was missing a key part of the bridge. The spacing is just fine.

The neck was a Coronado XII that had the top lopped off (like my XII did). I benefited from other people's madness. I glued on a new piece of maple and then covered it with a maple veneer. I will take more pics once it's assembled.

I forgot about this thread. I am just waiting on pickups from Curtis Novak. Cooter made me this guard to fit the smaller neck pocket. Here's where I first got the idea for putting a Mustang trem on a Bronco.

Nice. Whatever you do, don't toss the wrecked saddles. I have been doing the opposite, which is build a Bronco without the bridge. This weekend I almost finished it. Instead of the makeshift pickguard piece, I ordered a Mustang bridge plate. I can already tell I will like it. The Bigsby looks great....

I don't know which I like better. They are both flawless. I should have painted mine white with tinted instead of banana. But I have the same model and play it every day.

So is it this? 2007 was another transitional year for Japanese-made Fender instruments, with the return to the “Made in Japan country-of-origin identifier on the serial number decal. This was a running change, and both “Made in Japan and “Crafted in Japan decals appear on instruments ...

Mine must have looked just like that before it was stripped. It has the same pickups and checkerboard binding. Congrats!
