Yea, just noticed that today while going through my Sweetwater catalog. I think it's to the tune of like 469$ or something. Definitely cool.

Probably one of the most fun guitars to play. My buddy still has his to this day. I think it's about 16 years old now. Great little guitar for not a lotta $$$.

Was this the Classic Vibe Duo or the Mexican? Because there's about an 1.5" difference between the two.

Unless the D cups aren't attached to you...still, I'd play the neck pickup only.

Neck

The Bridge is always too thin for me. I like things to be round and full in my life. Kind of like a pair of D Cups.

Used you can grab the XO Electric Mistress for a good price. It does flange & chorus with the availability of mixing the two signals. You can get them used 60-80$. I like it, definitely a decent pedal.

Yea, the Mexi Duo is quite a nice guitar. I actually like it better than the CV Duo but enjoy the CV scale a little better for noodlin past the 12th fret. Either way, my buddy has been playing for 16 years now, probably the best player I actually know, and he won't part with that little guitar. I us...

I haven't read much about the Satellite but my buddy has an older Onyx 1620 with the firewire and it's a great mixing / recording board. If these are the same pres or the ones from the newer line, I think you've got a winner.

If you don't want ProTools I think you'd be better off going with something Presonus. The Pre's are just as good and they are a little cheaper. If you want ProToolish piece of software, check out Reaper, 40$

Brilliant. Mine is going to be ghetto for sure. In my attic I have two dormer areas. 7 foot high, 3 1/2 feet wide - 6 feet deep. I'm going to just double line the walls / floor with moving blankets. I think it'll work but it won't look as purdy as what you got. Great area. Of course the rest my room...

Steve, Nothing wrong with putting it at the end. Depending on your signal chain it might be best to boost at the end to strengthen your signal. The SHO is a great pedal but so damn expensive. I enjoy boost pedals but I enjoy treble boosters a whole lot more. Specifically the HBE Germania. That thing...

I'm not a particular bassman fan, but lil dawg amps look awesome and are nearly affordable, at least compared to the Fende rtweeds. I nearly bought one altough it would have cost about 100 shippung, not to mention taxes. waiting for a demo too :) I'll get a demo here in the next couple of weeks. An...

Re: New Amp Day!

Picked up a Vox AC15 last night - an eBay score. It's a couple of years old, has the 10" Wharfedale speaker. I'll see how I go with it - might upgrade the speaker a bit down the track. The price was right though, so no complaints on that score. And it's my first decent-sized tube amp! The 15s ...

NAD - Lil Dawg 59 Bassman

7 Weeks ago I ordered this bad boy and it's finally here! 4 Alnico - 30 watt - Weber Speakers - JJ tubes, deeper cab for more growl, just a sweet freakin amp. Damn I'm in love. http://i772.photobucket.com/albums/yy6/lank81/Lil%20Dawg%2059%20Bassman/264.jpg http://i772.photobucket.com/albums/yy6/lank...

I'd say A/B for nut width with a Modern C Shape would be best for me. I enjoy my strat shape neck probably the best minus the scale length.

From what I could find it seems that Duos and Musicmaster mainly had these. I'd say by today's standards Mustangs are probably the thinnest @ 1.625 compared to Jags/Duos/Strats
