It certainly has a lot of handy features in there. The main deciding factor may be the price though, what with so many similar things on the market: to compete with the likes of the Delay Lab or DD-20 it's going to have to run up against them, plus Line6 at the more affordable price point and Event...

In these scenarios, I always vote old rack units. Cheaps and they sounds ace. Agreed--unless he absolutely needs pedals. I sometimes just have my pedals going straight into a Midiverb II or Quadraverb and everything sounds fine. I found the Midiverb II off Craigslist for $40, the Quadraverb for $60...

Looks like GC got some more in stock. For $99 it's a steal.

I don't think Roland have ever reissued anything. And they never will. I read something about it a while ago about it's a japanese thing and I'm really drunk right now so you're just gonna have to take my word for it. I don't think it's necessarily a Japanese thing. Korg is a Japanese company and t...

Does anyone have an opinion on the Source audio reverb? The demos of it sound ace - but I do need to check out the cathedral. I am tempted to just save up a bit though and get the strymon as I think I may just be trying to emulate what I really want with a cheaper pedal. I have it (the Dimension Re...

I know a lot of people have been lobbying Roland for years to release an analog synth (reissue of a Juno-60/106 or a Jupiter-series), but it won't happen. They've repeatedly said that they have no interest in using old/analog tech. It's a shame.laterallateral wrote:OMG, please Roand... Re-issue an affordable Juno 60!

Do those mustang amps do a good deluxe/twin/bandmaster/etc. style clean? Without having ever played through those amps, I can't really say. However, I've been able to tweak and use models that I like. But having said that, I tend to revert back to the Pathfinder. Not really sure why, I just really ...

Aha I've never actually been on offset! I shall venture to the dark side very briefly... edit: Every single post involved some kind of mention of Kevin Shields so I couldn't quite cope after a while. I'll just see what I can pick up really cheap, all I want is a really long decay reverb. The Midive...

I bought one after missing having the M9. The only thing the M9 has over it, in terms of delay, is being able to have multiple delay types going at once. It's built like a tank and sounds really good. You get a big variety of delays to work with and I particularly like the ambient (pseudo reverb) se...

I don't know if you can find one secondhand (they're $189 new), but I really like the Source Audio Dimension Reverb. They are sort of ugly pedals, but they sound great (rack quality in a pedal) and are very tweakable. You can save 2 presets as well. It has a lot of settings to choose from (my favori...

Old thread, but I was looking for opinions on the Korg Mono/Poly Legacy VST... Here's what I have: impOSCar--great sounding synth and I've thought about upgrading to the impOSCar 2 as they have an upgrade special for $99. Huge, ballsy sounds from this thing. M-Tron--it's a VST of the Mellotron with ...
