A friend of mine has one of those. The stock pickups are single coils that look a little like white Rickenbacker hi-gains. It plays pretty well, but that metal plate on the top of the vibrato is really weird. I think she paid under $200 for it.

I've been happy with the Dream 180's. I think they suit the guitar well, and they give me a sound that I can't get from my other guitars. I have GFS Dream 180s in mine. The stock pickups are fine, but I wanted to use something a little hotter. Keep in mind that if you use a covered pickup you'll need to route the holes in the pickguard a touch.

Checked my amp tonight. The reverb tank hangs down underneath the amplifier above the left speaker (left when looking at the amp from the front). It's not very big, not quite half the width of the cabinet. But it's definitely not present in that head.
