I figured you may be interested to know that I got the guitar for $175 with free shipping and no tax (Reverb), and spent about $85-100 on parts. That's $260-275 total for what you see here. At some point I'll probably swap the pickups with GFS or similar, but even figuring for that, what a steal! Fe...

Thanks dudes. The 12" radius is not really doing it for me, but I keep picking this guitar up anyway. I really dig how it turned out.

Trembuckers almost always fit without any filing, but it can be tight. When the corners are more rounded rather than sharp it sometimes limits the range of up/down adjustment.

It happens to me almost every time I put a trembucker spaced Duncan in a guitar. Not a big deal as long as the wire isn't knicked in the process.

The Jazzy looks nice! Kinda reminds me of the Matt Skiba sig guitar from GPC.

The brand new Affinity Jazzmaster I took out of the box yesterday had zero problems. This is disconcerting.

I was inspired by HNB to make the yin to his yang. I thought an all black Jazzy would be downright mean. I like it a lot.

I've seen goofiness like that, nationally and even locally, with FedEx Ground. At work we actually go out of our way to avoid using them.

The color selection bugs me a little. Well, more specifically the fact that they have completely different colors for the SS and HS Duo-Sonics. I like the Capri Orange a lot, and would love it on the HS guitar. It's hard for me to justify another black, green, or blue guitar. But orange? I don't ha...

The Squier VM Jazzy i put together.... mint guard. i had to order a special bracket for the rollie stuff to fit right. added a buzz stop. The bridge is a CP Jazz that just kinda sits in there in the original cups. Not really happy with it though i had to shim the neck so stuff it a tad weird. I got...

I'm really happy with it and I'm glad you guys like it too, thanks for the kind words. The covers are from MojoTone. I ordered some other stuff from Allparts, but couldn't find the right covers there. MojoTone Cream Jazzmaster Cover I don't really have any decent recording gear, but I can probably m...

I used to have an old Peavey Bandit with preamp out/power amp in jacks on the back. That's probably what you've got. Plugging into only the power amp in disabled the amp's on board preamp. You could use the preamp out and power amp in together like an effects loop to plug a new device into the signa...

I got a new, longer bracket for the rhythm circuit last night. Unfortunately the holes for the control pots are a different diameter (Smaller). The threaded portion of the mini pot shafts have a larger diameter, and I couldn't feed them all the way through. What a pain in the ass. I used a file on t...

Yes, yes good. This is very good. How did you go about mounting the invader? First I took a normal Jazzmaster pickup cover, put it directly over the blank cover, and lightly marked the position of the normal pole pieces for reference. Then I took the big allen head screws out of the Invader, and ma...
