Amazing! Is the Bare Knuckle a Brute Force? If so, that's what I've got in my pink Tele/Esquire.

Oh gosh, knowing these exist is not good for my wallet at all.
Re: New song
Sounding good, nice grind on the bass tone! Intrigued to hear this with some vocals.

Re: pictures of your gear here
So far I've loved it in a recording context, in a live context it sounds terrible, but sometimes you want things to sound terrible. For this set there's one song where my guitar needs to sound fizzy and shite, so I'm using it for that. It's also useful for transitions between songs where I turn on a...

Re: pictures of your gear here
Yours is in significantly better condition than mine!
Pretty happy with this setup at practice last night, I seem to be using every pedal at least a couple of times in our current live set. Might stick with this for Thank, and build a second smaller board for Beige Palace.

Re: pictures of your gear here
I've been wavering on the "big pedalboard" business, and considering switching back to a smaller board, especially since I haven't even filled this one yet and I already feel overwhelmed. But in the meantime I'm trialing this setup, bringing back the Eyemaster and June-60 to see if they fa...

Re: What’s your favourite baritone/extended scale guitar?
I'm tempted to try a baritone at some point. I tune pretty low in Beige Palace and I've always used standard scale guitars up until now, but I'm starting to notice problems with tuning stability. Not sure if my ears have gotten more finely tuned, or if my playing has gotten more aggressive or what. ...

Re: USB-B to MIDI?
We did look into that, but couldn't figure out a cost effective way of doing it! Like you basically need to use a laptop or an expensive hardware sampler, I think. A local guy who builds his own homemade synths also offered to convert the Yamaha into basically a rack synth module (i.e. removing the ...

Re: USB-B to MIDI?
Sorry folks, I keep forgetting to come back to this thread. Thanks for all the sagely advice. Ultimately I think I've decided to just use this MIDI keyboard at home, and get another one with an actual MIDI output socket for live use with Beige Palace. I don't think I trust MIDI enough to try using a...

Re: 2021: A Year in Gear
I wouldn't stress too much about leakage from open back headphones. It's actually more common than you'd think for people to track vocals in the control room with no headphones and the monitors blaring. David Byrne and Bono definitely both do it, and I'm sure I read something about Prince doing it t...

Re: 2021: A Year in Gear
How do you find the pedal? Do you use it with just guitars? I'm considering using it with synths I've only used it on guitar so far! I really like it in a recording context, in a live/rehearsal context I'm not so sure. It's quite noisy so if you're combining it with any kind of dirt then you pretty...

Re: Incoming NGD
Thanks, haha. Ideally I'd like to knock this into something that sits alongside the other new songs for Thank LP2, but I'm unsure where to start with that. If I end up struggling then I might end up just doing a solo EP of stuff like this for fun. I'm pretty much just trying (and mostly failing) to ...

Ibanez Iceman
ANOTHER Boss DD-3 (thanks Dots)
TC Electronic Sub 'n' Up
TC Electronic June-60
TC Electronic Eyemaster
Electro Harmonix Silencer
Also, tenuous, but I finally got a Numark DJ controller so I can actually practice at home rather than winging it every time I DJ somewhere.
