The thing with those (turd excepted) is that I think they're based on consoles or amps that are already known to sound good. This Regent pre is more in the 'interesting' camp. Well, I think it's interesting anyway :D

Group shot of my Musimas. Re-necked Musima Elgita, pretty much stock Elgita with the low-output pickups, and a heavily modified Eterna with built-in preamp and fuzz circuit.

Here's a prototype for a limited run of an effect everyone has been calling-out for! This is the Bohm Trick Verzerrer circuit with original NOS East German transistors! Gain + bias trimmers externalised as mini pots. Really happy with this. How does it sound? Wait and see! http://www.fredric.co.uk/m...

I remember them as being adequate. I did like the headstock shape and it looked sort of streamlined for a 335-type. The writing o...

Wow, that's cool! I hadn't realised you were looking at making a full guitar. That sounds great. I'd have thought that interesting pickups would had sat easier in your brand. Also, buffer right at the front of the pedal chain? I thought the point was to sort of reamp things once a few TB pedals had...

Sounds really good. I need a replacement for my SF Deluxe Reverb as I don't want to have worry about that amp at guitar shows. Can't decide between the Princeton and the Deluxe tho.
