Re: NHD
Oh baby, I'd love a harmonium. How do the bellows work on that one?

All the SG Classics are. They're the ones with "Classic" written on the trussrod cover. They've recently done some variations on "SG Standard P90", and I can't vouch for those.

Re: NGD - now we are (nearly) 50
Missed this bit... SGs are great, but I’ve struggled with finding any that have a big enough neck. Not a slim taper fan in the slightest. It's why I always disliked SGs (see my "Oh, it's good enough for Kelly Jones but not for you?" farrago), but it was a MIJ Tokai SG that made me first di...

On Tokais, MIK ones have three-screw trussrod covers, MIJ have two-screw.

NGD - now we are (nearly) 50
We all knew this day would come lads. I hope this may be one of the five signs (of ageing) that will trigger Fran's return to the board. I got deliberately knocked off my bike last summer, and had to sell a chunk of kit while the court case chugged along. Eleven months later, it's over and they foun...

Re: Best Super Cheap Delay
On the other hand, there's huge value in trusting kids with things like this, letting them know this is a proper piece of equipment, that proper, professional guitarists use pedals, that that's what we're about here, and that I'm going to trust you with this. Really glad you've said this: in my exp...

Re: New jaguar tele custom mash up THE BELLYMASTER
Yeah seen them. I think herad in Australia has offered to make me one. More stuff arrived today http://i.ibb.co/QdYyQG7/20220423-095824.jpg Put the other wideranger in the space where the main switchplate normally goes, and just run the switching from the top plate. Clack the outboard humbucker wit...

Fuck, I should have said: those knobs I sent you, one's metric, one's imperial. That'll fuck the whole thing.

Re: is Neil's mic a harmonica?
Only so, so tangentially related, but harmonica chat always reminds me of this delightful `Van Morrison apocrypha: Van Morrison insists on his band turning up to rehearsals at bang on 8.30am, although Van himself often doesn't turn up until ten, and then goes straight to the toilet with a copy of Ex...
