Traded my SG Faded for this 77-78 Musicmaster!
All orginal except pickguard, tuners and pickup. Pickup is a SD Five-Two for Strat SSL-52.
Just got it so can really review it fully, but it sounds great! Wonderful cleanz!
Might get a black pickup cover on it...

Tuners are some sort of non-locking Schallers, work good so far!

take strings off
take pickguard off
undo pickup from said plate of protection
Take off the white cover off the pickup
Put on black cover
and refitting is the reversal of removal as Mr. Haynes would say.

Looks great. Saw the ad on ljudbojen as well. This one, apart from most other, had a reasonable price tag. Play it well son!

or you could capo the neck and take that off instead of the strings.

Well done, that is a great trade!
My first vintage Fender was a late 70's Musicmaster and i too traded for it with a Gibson SG. Been hooked on Fender since.

That's lovely, as is your avatar. My son's off to school dressed as Erik the Viking tomorrow for world book day.

Very nice. Like how discreet it is. Plus for nationality!
