MXR Super Comp

Post by limeypip »

Hi all,
I'm going to buy a compression pedal. The MXR Super Comp seems to have a good reputation and it's within my price bracket. The only thing I have a doubt about it is that a lot of reviews say it's great for Telecasters. I have a Classic player special HH. So I was wondering if any one has an opinion on this pedals suitability with my guitar. Any other recomendations would be welcome too.

I can't speak for the MXR, but I've owned the Boss Compressor Sustainer thing, a Marshall Ed the Compressor and a Keeley Compressor. The Keeley wins hands down. It's a much nicer effect on subtle settings than the other two, and is distinctly quieter.
