The is the best box design for a pedal I have ever seen. I would buy it without knowing what it does because that polar bear is so sick

WANT
SO
MUCH

You say each dial goes from -1 octave to +2 octaves of shift/GRIND; presumably you're not dividing that 3 octave range into semitones? What intervals does it provide if not?

And any firm RRP yet, Benny?

We’re currently planning a kickstarter event to bring the first run of EXTRASPECIALSUPERLIMITED EDITION Pitch Grinders direct to the customer, along with other special edition pedals and exclusive rewards for all backing levels. The final price is yet to be set, but we are estimating it will be between $300-400.

Excited about this pedal yes, not so excited about price until I can see what it really does for real, like.

I was sure the blurb was at least a few weeks old, so maybe they'd settled on a figure by now.

We're still sourcing some parts... so not quite decided yet on price.

And actually, my unit right now is doing 0 to +2 octaves. (chromatic) I think we're going to go with -1 to +1 though...

It sounds just like a badass version of the Auto-Riff function on my GT-8. Really cool effect but almost completely useless for real life.

How quickly or slowly can it play through the sequence?

This sounds like a fine idea, are you not tempted to stick the additional octaves on like Boss tend to?

-2 oct down
-1 oct down
-(all notes between)
-original
-(all notes between)
-1 oct up
-2 oct up

I think 5 octave riffs on this thing would be amazing; instant Devo.

It's really good!

Maybe I missed it but how about an expression pedal in for the tempo?

There is really no room for anything else in this beast, so unfortunately what is there is what you get, unless we start running wires out of the box into other ones :)
