But not Superdistortion.
It's got a DCR of 8.11k and was already fitted to my Bronco when it's previous owner bought it in 1978.
I made a new pickguard for the Bronco to put it back to stock.
That's pretty cool man. Looking foreword to seeing it finished.

I've done it, it's pretty close, I think the larger holes and spacing of the machine heads kinda throws the proportions slightly.
And it needs a bit more sanding.

Just a quick mockup pic, need to make the pickguard template, cut the pickguard and spray a final coat or 2 and it'll be done.

Oh, yeah, I need to drill a few holes for wires and screws.

Thanks! And thanks for the template you sent me. I wouldn't have been able to do this without it.

I wet sanded it so I'm not getting the reflective issues I've been having photographing this red.

I think it's gonna look cooler than a snowmans dick when it's finished.

Headstock looks really good too. I'm gonna have to make myself another Swinger one day.
You got me missing mine now.

That looks nice. Everything looks like it's fitting perfectly. The color is nice. I'm doing a swinger build soon too but I don't know what color I wanna do :/

Another quick mockup.
Image
I'm using the black pickup ring because it visually ties the cream humbucker into the other black plastics and adds an old school modified (vintage modified?) kinda vibe.
I was going to flat and machine polish this, but I managed to chip the paint.
I might leave it, first battle scar and all that...

Although this would not be my pickup combo of choice, I really like Swingers/Musiclanders, as have most people that have posted this thread. Kinda confused here

I am a fan of the Swinger, except I am not keen on the 22.5" scale length of the originals. Rodvonbon had a 24" scale Swinger with a Bridge pickup that was really cool.

I thought it would be cool to do a Swinger Jaguar at some point.
