I accidentally did a thing and it turned out to be nice

My friend Ben Steed agreed to collaborate with me and mix/remix any recordings I send him, so I sent him a fixed version of my song "Drone in DADAAD" where I took out the strings in the beginning, added a fade in, closed the gap of silence near the end, cut out some of the ending, and added a fade out.

I got bored earlier today, so I decided to play with the new fixed version myself and see what I can do. I put the entire track through "Paulstretch" on Audacity and left it alone. Came back to it later and now my ten and a half minute song is now one hour and forty-four minutes long, still in the original pitch.

I'll see what I can do to upload it later, because I'm 55 minutes into it and it sounds fucking great. Only one track, but it sounds like much more is going on.

Is this what you used for your tunes on bandcamp? I thought it sounded like it was put through Paul's extreme stretch.
