Mic for recording in Garageband?

For all non-guitar instruments; mandolins, synths, kazoos, and anything else musical that doesn't fit elsewhere.

Mic for recording in Garageband?

Post by gusman2x »

Advice more than a WTB.

Is anyone using a mic to record amps directly into garageband?

Do I need to get a kack connection mic, or will USB work? A mate of mine has a zoom H4n, would that work as a direct mic into garageband?

I was looking to spend under £100. Any recommendations would be mosrt welcome.

I use a Zoom H2n for direct recording via usb into garageband. So i think a H4 should work, too.

Cool, is the sound quality pretty good as a direct mic? I might look at the H2n then, as the H4n is too pricey for me, and maybe not needed.
