with a Xll, the control plat notch "recieves"
the pickguard. so a mustangs fits the bill better than a jaguars.
also, a jaguars is less "Tear-drop" shaped than the Xll's.

...thanks, b-obvious. My eyes weren't functioning well enough to look at the pictures he posted, so you explaining what they look like really helped.

I suggest that you cannibalize a Jagmaster and use that body, and throw a Jaguar plate or two on it.

.....yeah but i could get Aug to make me a body for less than the cost of a jagmaster.. I wouldn't have much of a need for anything else except the body....

I just want to see more shitty Jagmasters destroyed and made into good guitars.

the mustangs dual concave grooves create a recieving effect, much more than the jaguars does.

and shadow, i'm describing how the control plate would fit compared to a jaguars.

the "Mr.burns" nose shaped jaguar plate would look akward, it doesn't take much to greatly throw off the look of a guitar.

i voted for the Xll anyway.

the jaguar doesnt at all so it wouldnt be hard for something to look more recieving than it, but still the mustang one doesnt "recieve" at all. you need to learn to admit when you're wrong/made a mistake.

"recieving effect" as in an illusion.
