Put on the first coat and wet sanded some runs out. Has a relatively flat surface now. Turns out, that there is a crack through the body, but considering it's a Bullet, I'm not too worried about it.

More news tomorrow, sports fans!

Pics incoming.

It's 98% done, just need to fix a spot on the back tomorrow.

Even with all the runs, orange peel people and general nicknacks, I love it already.

Not gonna bother with a clear coat for now, I like it the way it is so far.

Color is kind of hard to photograph, it's directly in between those two shades

that is pretty cool looking, i must admit, AND HOLY CRAP THOSE PICS WERE HUGE!!! how many times have you leveled those frets and not re-crowned them?
it may have just been the pic, but they looked flat and polished.

Go big or go home, right?

There is a bit of oil on the neck, but I haven't touched the frets otherwise.

The lighting is, in a word, fucky, so it may just be the pic

i suppose so, it was just that before they re-sized the frets looked they had been leveled off and then polished back a bit. but anywho, i dig the color, reminds me of the international series.

Yeah, I've always liked the look of those, although I never got along with the CBS headstocks on strats, so I made my own!
