Some new teardrop and phantom shaped guitars from Vox. 24" scale by the looks of it.

How much are these? The previous reissues were pretty pricey, but looked a much higher spec

There is one called a Vox Organ. It's a phantom with all the controls that you used to get on old style electric organs. Soooo many nobs and switches. Saw one on e-bay years ago that seemed like a reasonably price but then realised it didn't work and I was aware the cost to fix any old analog organs was really high never mind something as odd as this. Totally fuck city central

Something that nowadays could be replicated by mounting a POG into a guitar.

Not quite... I don't think it would have the same tone of an amplified kids out of tune toy that this one does. Must weigh a fuck ton!

Well, no, it would actually work properly, though. You know, reliably. Which was a major complaint with the four or so copies of the Guitorgan that Vox actually managed to sell.
The tuning was apparently a problem as well. As I remember, the strings touching the frets completed an electrical circuit, generating the noise.
It was an amazing thing but definitely a curiosity rather than a viable performance instrument.

Youre both wrong. The correct answer is fender mustang amp
I like the idea of a reissue but they should do something more special with the bridge, make the headstock black or something and LOSE THE FUCKING DECAL OMG ITS SO BAD

We were talking about a different guitar.... just realised what you were saying
I agree about the reissue though. They always had bigsby style trems before and the logo is totally eighties looking and shite
