I've said this before years ago there was a guy in Glasgow st enoch square used to busk Pink Floyd covers with a fucked Sonex the guy was excellent and the sound he got out of that thing... Dave would have approved.

Are you originally from Glasgow? He was a sound bloke we'd just started playing and he used to talk guitar pish with us on his breaks... can't for the life of me remember his name...

I'm from Fort William, but my mum and dad are from Glasgow (Partick and Mount Florida respectively), so I spent loads of time there as a kid. Went to Strathclyde as well from 1998 to 2002.

I dunno if my JM qualifies. Sunburst is boring, CIJ is inferior to USA or MIM, and JMs in general aren't as 'cool' as Jags. Even so, if my flat was burning down my JM is the thing I'd grab as I run to the door.

The pickup upgrade helps, but despite all the (perfectly valid) reasons why jazzies are unpopular, even among Fender offsets, it's still my favourite.
