Post by Pacafeliz »

well this is (still) my brother's 1974 mustang. it looks like we'll be trading guitars and he'd be getting my yamaha sa-30t for it, or something.
this MIGHT be the one - thee mustang i can get along with (i've had and sold dozens...)

now take a look at it.
what do you think?

It looks like the decoration on a sixer of hard cider.

i love that they were resourceful enough to use the shielding from the bridge pickup on the butchered routing for the neck hum, but stupid enough to paint a fucking compstang.

Well, that kind of goes without saying.

I really like the art on it. The back looks cool, too bad no one will see it. The apple tree thing might not be everyone's taste, but I think it's nice.

I have to say BUTCHER!!! Why paint a compstang?

But the guitar looks also amazing!

If it feels great, then buy it.

Did your bro paint it or do the mods? That would have been my first question before we all dog piled. You should tell him not to trade since you will only sell it soon.

Answer: art AND butcher. The advantage of painting is you can always remove it. I like the back.
