New Amp Bassman 20

Post by holyCATS1415 »

Just picked up one of these fender paul rivera bassman 20's the other day.

115 speaker, haven't looked to see what kind yet.

its from 1982 or 1983 and in really good condition.

I was expecting it to be more of a guitar amp but it actually sounds pretty incredible as a bass amp. Has a recording line out also!

(this one isn't mine, but it looks the same)
Anybody else have any experience with these?

That is some SHEXY ampage, congrats!

My old Musicmaster Bass amp despite being HELLA trebly with guitar was a bass monster. Never could work out how that happened.

^you liked it? I heard some demos of the Musicmaster Bass Amp on youtube and it didn't sound good with bass.

Bassman 20 is a closed back 15" cab, Musicmaster Bass is open back 12", very different.

can i show you my favorite bassman ever? It's so sexy. Gawd! It was a head that my friends dads guitar player made a into a combo and there is also a matching cab. He willed it to my friend's dad and he died so now it's in their studio..Beautiful.

That bassman combo looks awesome. I want to do something like that with a bandmaster.

You might want to check out the Marshall Lead & Bass, you can get a nice copy from Ceriatone, they are from Malaysia. link

Not super loud, my bass play uses it at practice and its good enough for that (you can hear it over the drums guitar and organ), probably would not be loud enough to play shows with unless you had a microphone on it.
