Gray jaguar

Post by YuriK »

I was browsing reverb when i came across this.
http://reverb.com/item/81724-fender-jaguar-1964-grey
It was then that I realized I had never seen a grey jag before.
It looks pretty cool.

Dem refins.

I saw a Navy Blue refin on 'Verb.com. I'm gonna refinish my Squire to Navy Blue.

something yellowish would look great against the grey. You can see it with the gold of the logo

The proportions of the body look out. Maybe its the tort guard doing it.

Really not a fan of tort unless its on a black or white guitar.

HNB did a cool grey paint job on one of his builds. I like them and think the color gives you lots of options for pickguards.

i like the color, but the price should be well south of $2k since it's a refin. i don't care if it's 50 years old now. we also don't know if there are any other parts changed out.

I would make so much love to that thing.

I love the mentality sellers have... 'if the date has old numbers in it, then the guitar must be well worth 2k!'
But then again, I guess someone MUST be paying these prices or people would stop trying.

Jeez, I wish we could get a vintage Jag, even a refin, for the equivalent of 2000 dollars over here.

Lets be honest though, it's cheaper than a new AV and I know which I would prefer.
