you cant tell what color it actually is at all. in the light its really light.

It's a refin and a fair bit lighter than Charcoal Frost. Charcoal Frost is quite a bit darker than that from any angle, except for the RI version of the colour Fender used fairly recently which is pretty much the same as the Pewter and Tungsten colours they've used.

Whatever color it is, I like it as well. Not sure why someone would pay $3k for an "all original" vintage Jag when you can find creative refins that actually look better.

But yes, a used AVRI and you're good to go for waaaay less.

Ice blue metallic will sometimes fade out to that sort of a grey, too.
