My wife got me this for my birthday.

It's a lefty, I got it strung like a lefty and now I got the Kurdtz

Nice, congrats! I've always wanted to try one of these. I owned a Mosrite I loved the sound of, more than any guitar I've owned, but I couldn't get on with the super thin neck and impossibly small frets. The Custom 60 isn't like that, so it's a lot more appealing.

The neck plays awesome. I have played a couple of Mosrites and they were hard to get along with.

I feel the Hallmark is an improved design. I LOVE the trem and zero fret. I can wank on the whammy bar like a mad man and it returns to pitch, dive bombs the lot.

It's my favorite guitar, I am gonna buy a "59" model from Hallmark next.

This is my guitarsenal now

I am thinking to sell my Rickenbacker 330.. maybe. If I do I will get another couple of Hallmarks. They are just the best. Honestly, way better guitar than anything else I have ever owned, that includes Gibsons, Fenders, Rickenbackers...

Anyway, I done buying guitars for a while.

For B-Days, Christmas, Anniversaries the wife always gets me guitar stuff. I buy her shoes and jewelry, so it's not just me.

I really want one of these for Christmas...

Image

I would also like to find some cheap point to point hardwired single channel heads for my brother.

Looks great! I've got Hallmark parts on my Mosrite Celebrity, but still appreciate some Univox stuff.

Are these guitars usually Korean built but US assembled?

Pretty much the best guitar I have ever owned. It ticks all the boxes.

1.) Body is the right size, bigger than a stratocaster or a SG.
2.) No neck dive whatsoever, set neck, the neck width and string spacing is perfect, way better than an original Mosrite.
3.) Stays in tune, even when dive bombing, it's that zero fret and Semie Mosely designed tremolo.
4.) Tones, it kinda sounds like P90, but it isn't. I would like to get a Hallmark humbucker in the bridge, but if I don't it's fine.
5.) Got the Kurtz!

In my opinion it's a much improved Mosrite. It keeps all the things about the Mosrite that are awesome and fixes the things that aren't.

The ONLY thing I don't like is it doesn't have a Niro finish, however I could get it refinished but does it really matter? No.

All in all the best guitar I have owned.

I like these a lot despite what I said in the other thread. Love that Purple.
