That looks great! I have heard that some of these Kalamazoo guitars are less than well made. Doesn't seem true of this one, but is that the usual case?

I think it is the stock case. It is the case I see most of them in on google images. :) Plus it says Gibson in it and I can't imagine many other Gibby's fitting in it. It is super thin.

Nah, I meant are most of these guitars made of masonite or not (now that I've read the entire thread I see that topic already came up)

It'd be good to hear. It looks great. I love these oddball type guitars.

Where does it sit with you quality wise? (as in the feel of the beast). Does it feel budget or pretty solid? It certainly looks the business!

You're really amassing some collection now. A little picture thread on the horizon maybe....?

This is the downstairs crew at the moment. I will do an upstairs shot in a bit. The Kalamazoo is upstairs in it's case at the moment. That one feels totally solid. Not flimsy at all. The tremolo is strong. Only thing I might change is a TOM instead of the wraparound bridge it has but that works fine and seems to be intonating just fine in spite of not being adjustable.

Check this bridge, I think Cur is using the same one in his project. Might be a good alternative.

I'll check the demo at home, pretty curious about it
P.S. What the heck is about Cur thing? I must be missed it

That is a nice looking TOM. This one intonates correctly as is, so I will probably leave it alone. :)
