i went a little GAS happy last night and ordered:
  • a cover for the ac30
  • casters
  • ac30 foot switch
  • new, larger pedal train board
  • power supply w/ power cables & 6" patch cables w/ pancake-style connectors
  • 20' pedal python
  • Hotone Skyline Choir Analog Chorus Pedal
You gonna sell your old pedal board? If so, I may want to snake it from you for when I build out my pedal/FX chain.

Ah, should have figured that. Do you ever use them together?

That's great for getting an instant feedback from the amp, but it's a little gainy for my usual playing. I really love versatility of the ocd.

You should try out a Hot Cake or a clone of one through that amp. They work really well with the vox circuit.

based on the reviews, i could see using the hot cake to replace the glove... for more than twice the price! dang!

i must admit i'd never played through them before. i've also heard the alinco blue celestions are a worthy upgrade... for $200 each!

Another pedal that works well that isn't so spendy is the Boss SD-1. It sounds really good and doesn't get so pinched sounding like a tubescreamer(though turning down the bass on the amp can help a bit).

dude.. just read the first post. I know just thing. One power cable for 3 bad ass pedals in one enclosure..

ehx epitome.. its so killer

micro pog, electric mistress, and holy grail all together
WAIT! there's more.. the shimmer control makes the reverb tail the other effects so you can have the pog make organ sounds that are inside the echo of the holy grail. I love it..

i need another trem pedal also.. i'm using the boss deluxe reverb pedal and it has vibrato on it and its cool but i use the one above for reverb now.. first world problems

looks pretty cool. gonna try out using the amp's built-in verb and the chorus pedal i ordered this weekend at rehearsal and see how that goes. delay and compression are both on my "maybe list" to be sure.

Got the pedal train and accompanying bits in this week, so here is the first iteration. Between the better use of space, larger size, and the pancake connectors, I've tons of room left over even after during off yesterday olde modded muffin was slapped on. So now I need a delay and an octaver... and then I think I'm done!
