The pickguard shape makes sense if there's 4 knobs on it. With the epi config it's too big/sparse and looks bad.

Yeah, looks like they had two different routs and scratchplates:

Don't need another guitar with single coils, but if I'd get one, I'd get a sunburst one, add a volume knob and gold knobs.

When you press the accelerator past halfway it doesn’t actually go any faster, but the engine noise distorts

you could in theory cut 2 holes in the pickguard. jam 2 pieces of stick in there and put 2 knobs on it that don't do anything

Robroe needs to start a gofundme page so he can buy this and mod it! I'd donate.

It looks like someone had to draw a guitar in mspaint and they were only allowed to use the biggest brush size.

Idk. Some okay colors. The pickguard is a bit much, but I think it would stupid without it too.

Only just saw these last night, totally into the unbalanced look and the colours.

Can't see any London dealers yet, which is annoying as I have a day off today

Edit: ah, preorder, not out here until end o'Sep. Tempted..

Going full time at my job in September because I'll be done with my MA by then. Pretty sure I'll be ordering one of these on my first payday.

Think I might even pre-order one, likely to put covered minibuckers in and make it the RAWK machine as I don't have anything hardtaily for the rocking. Either that, or it'll be the new Casa Bonita bae if/when we start up again proper, with less boring material

Definitely don't need it as I've already got two SGs, one with single coils and one with HBs, but I'm a sucker for pretty colours. Was gonna try and sell my Vintage SG a bit ago but I think it's had too many weird mods for anyone to want it.

Didn't you hear the song?

If there's one thing Guy Fieri-y knows, it's tone.

I don't really get the blowback with these! I actually really like them and if they end up as still being $100 in Australia money (hahahahahahahahaha) I'll probably buy one. Maybe on the used market when they're like $50.

But really, the cartoony colours really speak to me.

I think I'm turned off by the fact that they're sooo ridiculously close to being melody makers, yet have a seemingly-needlessly expanded pickguard... bulb? Butt? I dunno. It's like an uncanny valley thing.
